This was our second time staying at St Weonards. The hosts were lovely and greeted us going through everything we needed and remembered us from our first stay which was a few years prior. The straightners in the room was a great touch as it is a simple idea and saves on packing your own. The bathrobes were fantastic too as you can get really cosy in your room after a long day driving or sightseeing Breakfast was lovely with plenty of options so you can switch it up day by day. We were always welcomed with a friendly good morning and enquiry about how you are and any plans for the day We will certainly stay here whenever we are traveling to Paignton as it's been a lovely couple of days Lee and Vicky are brilliant
We spent 4 nights in St weonards from 14th april for 4 nights. Vicky and Lee were lovely owners of this great welcoming hotel. Nothing was too much trouble. Food was outstanding, plenty of variety and very good portions. Our room was very good.Very good nights sleep in our kingsize bed. We will definetly be returning. Thank you Vicky and Lee.xx
Spent a weekend here and absolutely loved it. The rooms and bathrooms are spotless and have everything that you would possibly need even hair straighteners. The little touches like a range of teas and coffees, high quality soap/body wash and reliable wifi is great. Breakfast was amazing, so many different options to choose from and they cater for all needs even if you have an intolerance. You can tell they source some of the best quality ingredients and take pride in delivering yummy food. There is also such a nice addition with drinks available 24/7 as long as you feed the piggy bank (honesty bar). Vicky and Leigh are perfect hosts. They make sure that you have every thing you need and are very welcoming. The B and B is in such a fantastic location with the beach only being a 2 minute walk and everything on your doorstep.
Firstly the value for money is amazing. Great location, 5 minutes from the beach, less than 5 minutes from shops/pubs and about 5 minutes from the train station. The hosts were great, and friendly. As for the room itself, was spacious and clean. Good sized bathroom. The shower had great water pressure, throughout the day. Bed itself was comfy, and I slept well all 4 nights I was there. It's one of the cheapest places to stay in Paignton, and it's definitely worth the money, and a bit more. They also offer breakfast, which I did not have, it looked a good size from what I saw. Will be staying again.
